Thanks for the follow-up posting.
I've seen silly things when users would call and say "my GP account is locked out" or "I tin't login, my pwd is rejected, only I'yard 100% sure about being right".. and in the end it turns out users had their CAPS lock on and didn't notice, because the LED was so tiny on the keyboard.. (especially on newer laptops).

Currently we have some customized integrations to bring in Accounting and Billing data into GP, nil related to logins similar Fastpath or whatsoever other Power Tools.

We use RDS Remote App solution for Application delivery - MS Remote App. We are not using the cloud based offering for workspot. We are really hosting it at our on premise DC. Nosotros do non use Azure.

Uh Oh.. I can already see a problem here.. this is a cloud based solution that allows for remote access of GP that would exist stored on an Azure platform ?..
It'due south hard to tell, since we don't know much nigh the environs and how information technology was setup.. Where is the GP server / databases ? how practice the users access the "Workspot" session ? are they using a total desktop login or only a published app login ?
The blazon of issue your users are facing seems related to the fact that the server names seems to modify randomly and the ODBC connection doesn't stick, which would cause randomly the password to not decrypt correctly anymore.. Based on the marketing paper from Workspot, information technology looks similar that application deployment is made in fashion to take reward of Azure regional servers, which can change over time.
You want to make sure with your provider that the GP client always uses the exact aforementioned ODBC connection name that was used in the initial configuration and doesn't change over the course of time.

This is going to be hard to debug when such matter happen randomly... There could be a lots of parameters involved, similar not using the aforementioned SQL Client version on the workstations, or the SQL server collation, or an inconsistent ODBC connection name..
How do the user admission GP ? local clients or Citrix / TS environment ?
Are you using "enforced user policy" when defining the pwd on the GP side for the users ?

It happens to some 4-v users only. This week I deleted all of their user ids and recreated them and observing if that fails likewise. One of them failed today and I did the same thing - deleted and recreated!

Practise you reset the pwd on the same system where you lot test it subsequently ?
If not, could it be that your ODBC connection doesn't have the same instance name on the different computers ? this is a fairly mutual issue where someone setup the GP client by using a different SQL server proper name (i.eastward. using IP Address instead of approved name), and since GP uses that instance proper name to encrypt the password in the database, the pwd does not lucifer when connecting from some other computer.
If it'southward on the aforementioned computer, and so there is something else that plays in the game, simply it could be an issue with the Firewall or network.
Is it a single user that faces the trouble or did information technology happen to several ?
